PCM Pompes of Paris, France, acquired some of the assets of a US manufacturer of fluid pumping systems. This strategic acquisition will enhance PCM's product line, extend its offering for industrial applications and reinforce its presence in North America.
PCM Pompes is a division of the Gévelot Group, a US$ 210 Million company listed on the Paris Stock Exchange. PCM Pompes and its founding partner René Moineau are the original inventors of the widely known progressive cavity pump (PCP). Beyond being among the world's leading manufacturers of volumetric pumps, PCM positions itself as a provider of engineered solutions for the transfer and dosing of fluids.
CANEC Inteational acted as advisor to PCM Pompes on the transaction. CANEC Inteational identified the US company, provided valuation expertise, as well as assistance in the negotiations and structuring of the transaction.
